Raymond Leslie Farr was born 16 February 1916 to Wellington Farr and Martha Collins in Queensland, Australia.

Occupied as a meat worker in 1941; a machinist 1949 and 1959

Military enlistment was on 14 April 1942 into the Australian Army; he served during World War Two.

Married 25 March 1937 in Brisbane Queensland, to Naider Sarah Lewis at West End Methodist Church, South Brisbane. They had one child named- Lynne Leslie Farr.

Death occurred 18 March 2009; buried Hemmant cemetery Brisbane.
