Biography

Mary Ann Farrant was born before 30 September 1846 in Bridgewater, Somerset, England the daughter of Stephen Farrant and Ann[1]. Mary Ann was baptised alongside her brother John on 15 November 1848 at St Mary's in Bridgewater, Somerset[2].

Mary married William Cockburn Geggie (~1842 - 1904) on 1 September 1872 at St James' in Holloway, England[13][14].

In the 1901 England Census Mary Ann was said to be 54 years old and resided with her husband and 3 of their children at Rosslyn Road, Tottenham, Edmonton[16].

In the 1911 England Census Mary Ann was now Widowed and living with her son David and his family at 54 Palmerston Road, Bowes Park, Wood Green North, Middlesex[17].

Mary died on 1 January 1928 in Edmonton, Middlesex aged 81 years, her son David was the heir to her estate[18][19].
