Biography

Nehemiah Meyer Farrington was the son of Stephen D. Farrington and Anna F. Adams, born in October of 1867^[1] in Westchester, New York.

He married twice: 1) Isabella Ahmutz (1877-1905)^[2], 2) Minerva A. Taylor^[3].

Meyer passed away on 10 January 1928^[4] in Westport, Connecticut. He was buried in East Norwalk Historical Cemetery, Connecticut.

The Norwalk Hour (11 January 1928):^[5]

Meyer Farrington, aged sixty years, son of the late Stephen Farrington, died suddenly last night at his home, 65 Cross street. Mr. Farrington was injured two years ago while at work in a factory here and had been in poor health since. He is survived by his wife, Minnie A., two sons, Frederick of Norwick and Howard of New York city; two daughters, Mrs. C. Williams and Mrs. F. Warm, Norwalk; three brothers, Edward, Frank and Harry, and one sister, Mrs. David Havens of Norwalk. Funeral services will be held at 2:30 o'clock Friday afternoon from his late home. Rev. J. Benton Werner of Grace church will officiate. Interment will be in East Norwalk cemetery.

The funeral services will be private.
