James Feake Jr. was born about 1508, Wighton, Norfolk County, England. He was married about 1529 to Agnes Framyngham, daughter of Edmund Framyngham. In 1533, Feake was one of the feofees to uses appointed under the will of Walter Brightmer of Wighton (probably a relative). James Jr. made his will on 23 January 1538/39, Wighton, Norfolk County, and it was proved on 18 July 1539, Walsingham, Norfolk (Norwich Archdeaconry Court records). Its says that he was to be buried in Wighton Church "north ile next to the Sepulchre of my father." The executors were his wife Agnes and son George, supervisor was Edmond Framyngham of Colthorpp, and witnesses were Simon Browen (vicar), Robert Glaise, Simon Dobyn, and John Merchant. The widow Agnes married 2nd, to a Mr. Angell.[1]
