Biography

David was born in 1872. He was the son of Joel Feltenstein and Rachael Silverman. He passed away in 1941.

      David Feltenstein, a retired merchant, sixty-eight years old, died last night at a local hospital. Mr. Feltenstein, who lived at 624 North Twenty-fifth street, had been in the wholesale liquor business and operated the Princess before his retirement about ten years ago.
      Mr. Feltenstein, who was born in New York city, came to St. Joseph as a small boy with his parents. He was a member of Temple Adath Joseph.
      His survivors are his three sons, Harry Feltenstein, manager of The Princess; Edward Feltenstein, general manager of the Commerce Loan and Investment Company, and Gerald Feltenstein, assistant manager of The Princess.
      The body is at the Heaton-BeGole & Bowman mortuary pending funeral arrangements. ^[1]
