OBITUARY The interment of the remains of the late Mrs Matilda Jane Pearson, wife of Mr. Willian Pearson of Catherine-street, Geelong West, and formerly of Daylesford, took place in the Baptist portion of the New General cemetery on Sunday afternoon. The coffin was borne from the hearse to the grave by Messrs J. Ferguson and R. J. Ferguson (brothers), L. and S. Ferguson (nephews), and the following supported the pall—Messrs. J. Reynolds. J H. Gowry, C. P. Bernard, R. Pearson, R. C. Littleton, A R. Stewart, R. Summers, S, Simmons, A. Muncey, T. Elwood Rev T. Shaw of Aberdeen Baptist Church, was the officialing clergyman at the house and graveside. Mr. Alex. Monro carried out the mortuary arrangements.
