Biography

William Ferguson is an early settler of Jefferson County, Mississippi. He acquired land in the county and established Uniontown in the late 1700s. He is known for operating "Mount Locust".

William married Pauline Burch, daughter of Samuel and Elizabeth (Holt) Burch. Among their children are:
