Rose Ellen Ferree was born to Ann Marquis and Adonijah Ferree on September 22, 1864^[1] in Clinton County, Indiana.

Rose Ferree married Elmer Hennesy on October 24, 1883 in Columbia Township, Tama County, Iowa.^[2] They were divorced sometime before 1891.

Rose Ferree secondly married Tyler Hollingsworth on July 21, 1891 in Wallace, Nebraska.
