George Mason Ferree, farmer, postoffice Coraopolis, was born on the homestead of his father and grandfather, near Coraopolis, April 21, 1831, a son of William P. and Mary (Stoddart) Ferree, and was educated at Coraopolis. He married, Dec. 31, 1862, Rachel O. Curry;Mr. and Mrs. Ferree have a family of two sons and two daughters: Emery Howard, clerk in the Chartiers Steel-works; Westanna J., Ralph Nevine and Beulah V., all with their parents.
