Nicolas Ferret has French origins.
Nicolas Ferret was a Huguenot.

Nicolas was born about 1565 in Tourcoing, Nord, Nord-Pas-de-Calais, France. He was the son of Christophe Ferret. His family were French Huguenots who immigrated to Canterbury, Kent, England to escape religious persecution. He was married three times.

First marriage: He married Marie Poilet/ Pollet, daughter of Arnout Pollet, abt 1590 in Tourcoing and they had nine children together:

  3. Male Child Ferret (1594-1594)
  4. Daniel Ferret (1595-1642)
  5. Elizabeth Ferret (1598-1598)
  6. Pierre Ferret (1600-1605)

  8. Jaques Ferret (?-1598)-infant
  9. Pierre Ferret (?-1598)-infant

Second marriage: Marie passed away in 1603. He then married (Unknown) in 1604 and they had at least seven children together:

Third marriage: He married lastly to Marie Usille in 1628 in England. There were no children recorded of this marriage.

He passed away in 1633 In Canterbury, Kent England.
