Robert Newton Fidler was born 25 Feb 1924 in Wichita, Sedgwick, Kansas, United States. He was the son of Alden Fidler and Dora Newton.[1][2]
He is the biological father of Joe Walsh, guitarist of the James Gang and the Eagles.
He died 22 Jul 1949 in Okinawa, Japan in a plane crash and was buried in Wichita Park Cemetery and Mausoleum, Wichita, Sedgwick, Kansas, United States.[3]
