Laura was born April 5, 1804. She was the daughter of John Finch and Jemima Overton. She passed away before 1890.

William W. Wick was born Feb. 23, 1796 in Canonsburg, Pennsylvania and died May 19, 1868. He is buried in Greenlawn Cemetery - Franklin, Johnson County, IN. Per monument in Greenlawn Cemetery, William Wick came to Indiana in 1819 and was elected Clerk of the State House of Representatives in 1820. He was chosen the first Judge of the New Purchase in 1822, was the first Judge to hold court in Indianapolis and held the first court in Johnson County, IN., October 16, 1823 in John Smiley's cabin. William Wick was a Johnson County Circuit Judge intermittently until 1859, was elected Secretary of State (1825-1829), served three terms in the U.S. Congress, was an 1849 Presidential Elector and Indianapolis Postmaster 1853-1857.
