Imogene Fisher was born in Columbus, Cherokee County, Kansas[1] on the 17th of March 1914[1] to Walter Fisher[1] and Sarah Richardson[1].
She married John Krause on the 1st of July 1938 in King Count, Washington[2]and they had:

Jean was born in Cherokee County, Kansas on 5/17/1914, and went to be with Jesus on June 11, 2006. Number 8 of 12 children, she grew up on a farm in Kansas. In 1935, during the depression years, the family moved to Washington where some of the older children had previously located. Eleven of them made the trip in a truck with a following car. They settled in Rose Valley near Kelso. The family survived on whatever jobs each of the family members might obtain.
Jean met her future husband Jack through her brothers who worked in a CCC camp with him. Jack and Jean married in 1937 and settled in Seattle where their two children were born. Patricia Marie and Betty Jean.
Jean was legally blind her whole life and was delighted to find a doctor in the early 40's who was able to help her with a new invention, a contact lens which improved her vision greatly, but still left her legally blind. She was a full time housewife and devoted mother to her two girls. She belonged to the Pythian sisters Lodge #45. Jean was widowed three times.
She moved to Tacoma in 1990 to be closer to her older daughter who would help her with errands, Dr appointments, shopping, etc. She lived in her own home until 2003 when she began sharing time with her two daughters until she became ill.
She is survived by her two girls, Betty Jean Krause, Patty Rutledge (Jack), a sister Christine Johnson of Kelso, numerous nieces and nephews and 5 grandchildren Rick Rutledge (Doris) , Michael Rutledge (Marna), Lisa March (Logan dec'd), Annette Black, Steve Zweekhorst, 12 great grandchildren and 5 great great grandchildren.
She belonged to the Olumpic View Baptist Church and the Olympic View Bible Study Group., She was a loving mother, grandmother, great and great great grandmother, and a gracious friend to all she met.
She will be well missed.
A Memorial service will be held at Olympic View Baptist Church, 4707 Elwood Drive West, University Place at 1:30 Thursday, June 15th. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the Fransciscan Hospice, 2901 Bridgeport WAy West, University Place, WA 98466
