He is shown as son of Robert Fitz Gerold, brother of Alexander and Amice. (she is shown currently as dau. and this will be corrected shortly)

Domesday Descendants notes that Alexander FitzGerold donated property to Southwark priory for the soul of his brother Ralph.

Birth may have been c. 1117 in Bewley Manor, Boughton Malherb, Kent, England.

Weber cites the Complete Peerage for Ralph, adding that it doesn't specifically name him as "father" for Amice, only that she was Ralph's heir. On her page (Weber), she is shown as a "coheir" of Ralph.
