John Flagg was born on June 14, 1643 in Watertown, Middlesex County, Massachuasetts. He was the son of Thomas Flagg and Mary (Unknown) Flagg.
John married Mercy Gale in Watertown on March 30, 1670. Mercy was the daughter of Richard Gale and Mary Castle Gale.
He was admitted freeman October 11, 1682 and served as Constable (tax collector) in 1685.
John Flagg passed away February 6, 1697 in Watertown aged 54 years.[1]. Probate records show that he left an only son, John Flagg and an only daughter Mary Flagg. [2]
