Biography

Henry Flood born in 1732, ( illegitimate ) son of Warden FLOOD , Lord Chief Justice of the King's Bench for Ireland, and Isabella Whiteside.^[1] Grandson of Anne Warden and Major Francis FLOOD of Burnchurch, Lord Chief Justice of Ireland.

Henry married Lady Frances BERESFORD, daughter of Marcus Beresford, 1st Earl of Tyrone and Lady Catherine POWER.

"As early as 1768 Flood seems to have been trying to enter the British Parliament."^[2] He did serve as an MP and was known as a orator.

He and Frances, who survived until 1815, had no children, and his property passed to a cousin, John Flood. Possibly this cousin John FLOOD
