Georgia Flowers was born on June 26, 1892, in Alabama, to parents Charles Gaston Flowers and Anna Bell Roberts. She had seven siblings: Lola F, Gilland, William Leland, John Gary, Irma, Richard Harvey and Charles Wesley. Georgia married Walter L. Rivenbark on January 31, 1912, in Coffee, Alabama, when she was 19 years old. They had one child during their marriage: Dorothy F. Georgia lived in various places throughout her life, including Grimes and Searcy in Alabama, Smith in Arkansas and Memphis in Tennessee. Her father died on July 15, 1944, in Memphis, Tennessee at the age of 76, and her mother died on October 19, 1952, in Wynne, Arkansas at the age of 81. Georgia passed away in August 1974 in Tucson, Arizona, at the age of 82.
