Biography

Sarah was born about 1850, in Cumberland, Virginia. She was the daughter of Adam D. Foot (1823-1855) and Martha Ann Edmondson (1827-1907).

Her father died when she was a young child.

On 22 Feb 1870, in Halifax, he married John Peter Metteaux Carrington. They had one known child.

1. Mildred Coles Carrington b. 1871 - d. 1942, m. Flavius Archer Waddell

Living in Halifax throughout most of her life, it is here she passed away in 1925. She is buried at the Oak Ridge Cemetery.
