Biography
George Forden came free to the Colony of Victoria (1851-1900)
George was born in 1839, the son of John Forden and Elizabeth Giles. [1]
At the time of the England and Wales Census, 1841, the Forden family were living at Ockbrook, Derbyshire, England, United Kingdom. The family members present were:
John Forden, Male, aged 40, born in Derbyshire; Elizabeth Forden, Female, aged 40; Mary Forden, Female, aged 20, born in Derbyshire; Sabra Forden, Female, aged 13, born in Derbyshire; Priscilla Forden, Female, aged 10, born in Derbyshire; Elizabeth Forden, Female, aged 8, born in Derbyshire; John Forden, Male, aged 5, born in Derbyshire; George Forden, Male, aged 2, born in Derbyshire.[2]
In 1861, George Forden married Jane Spencer in the Colony of Victoria.[3]
He passed away in 1919, aged 80. [4]
