Biography

Georgiana (Francis) Cannon was born in Newport, Monmouthshire, Wales.

Georgiana Powell Francis was baptised on 12 December 1843 at the Church of St. Paul in Newport, Monmouth. Her parents were recorded as James Francis (late minister of St. Paul's) and his wife Mary. ^{[1] [2]}

Georgiana Powell Francis, 37 y/o daughter of James Francis (Clergyman), married John Cannon, 63 y/o widower (son of William Cannon, Cotton Spinner), on 15 June 1881 at the Church of St. Anne in Lancaster, Lancashire. Georgiana was said to be from St. Anne's Vicarage and John from Ealing, Middlesex. They were married by James Francis, Vicar of St. Anne's and Georgiana's father. ^[3]

Georgiana Powell Cannon died on 4 March 1905 while living at 7 Windsor Road, Ealing, Middlesex. ^[4] She was 61 years of age and was buried on 6 March 1905 at Buckhurst Hill Cemetery (St. John the Baptist) in Buckhurst Hill, Essex. ^[5]
