Miller married Julia P Clark on 16 May 1854.[2]
Note: Some records state the marriage year as 1864, rather than 1854 (same month and day) However, 1854 is much more likely given that by 1860 Miller and Julia were living in the same household with two children, ages 5 and 3. See below the 1860 census. Also, the Calhoun County Court House has burned three times, in 1861, 1865, and 1932. Many records have been reproduced so errors are possible.
In 1860, Miller and Julia were living in Jacksonville, Calhoun County, Alabama. Miller was a Physician.[4]
