Biography
Maria Marc was a German artist. She is also known as the wife of the painter Franz Marc.
Bertha Pauline Marie was born in 1876 in Berlin Luisenstadt.[1] She was the daughter of accountant and later bank director Philipp Franck (1843-1913) and his wife Helene, née Sonntag.[2]
Maria met Franz Marc in 1905, marrying him on 3 Jun 1913 in Munich. She passed away in 1955 in Ried near Kochel am See.[3]
