Biography
Prudence (Freeman) Jackson was born in Lincolnshire, England.
In 1792 Prudence married Michael Jackson in Crowle.[2] Their children were baptised in Adlingfleet, Yorkshire:
- Elizabeth, 1793[3]
- Nanny, 1794[4]
- Susannah, 1797[5]
- John, 1798[6]
- Michael, 1800[7]
- James, 1803[8]
- Mary, 1807[9]
- Fanny, 1810[10]
Michael died in 1839 at the age of 76.[11] At the time of the 1841 census Prudence lived alone in Whitgift, Yorkshire.[12] She died in Whitgift at the age of 80 in 1848 and was buried in Adlingfleet.[13]
