Biography

3rd Hugh of Stainton who died and was buried at Braithwell 1581. He married Margaret Anderton and by her had an only daughter, Jane, who died 1637, the wife of George French of Stainton whom she married 1575. He names in his will (York Wills 218) his cousin Ann Harrison and her children.
