Biography

Jane was born in about 1858. She was the daughter of Lt.-Col. William Causabon Frend and Harriott Georgiana Garvey.

She married Frederick Coore Mein on 22 November 1877 in Roscrea, County Tipperary, Ireland.^[1]

They had at least three daughters and a son George Frederick (b. 7 December 1881, d. 7 August 1915 Killed in Action).

UK Census Date 1881: Living with her husband Frederick, three young daughters Constance, Nora and Georgina and three servants in Edgmond, Shropshire, England. Aged 23.

Sadly Jane died in 1884 at the age of about 26.^[2]
