Biography
Alice was perhaps born Alice Frost. She was the wife of Anthony Poe, mentioned in his will.[1] The surname "Frost" comes from Bewley, who states that when she was granted probate of her husband's estate she was called Alice Poe otherwise Frost. But it could be instead that she had remarried to a Frost soon after her husband died.
She is possibly the Alice Poe who was buried at Pappelwick on 18 October 1633.[2]
