Biography

Samson Isidore Gaiardi (ou Gaillard selon l'état-civil français), tailleur d'habits, est le fils de Joseph "Gaillard" aussi tailleur, et de Geneviève Caralis, demeurant à Rome (1790)[1].

Il épouse Catherine Chomerat le 7 novembre 1790 à Lyon (église Saint-Nizier)[1].

Il est mort avant 1799: sa veuve, Catherine Chaumerat, a un fils (Claude Adolphe Monet) de son remariage dès février 1800.
