Sally Sue Grubb, 80, of Georgetown, Illinois, passed away at 6:46am, Wednesday, October 28, 2020, at Pleasant Meadows Senior Living, Chrisman, Illinois.
She was born on March 2, 1940 in Georgetown, Illinois, the daughter of Paul Galyen and Rosetta Moore, both deceased. She was united in marriage on May 5, 1962. He survives.
She is also survived by her children, grandchildren and great granchildren. Siblings, nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her brothers, Bob and Bill Galyen; her sister, Sandy Hart; her brothers-in-law, Clyde Morden and Jerry Grubb and her son-in-law, Randy Thornton.
Sally was a life-member of the NRA. She worked as a Registered Nurse for 50 years at Lakeview Hospital and was the night shift supervisor for 20 years. She enjoyed hunting, fishing, and traveling. She also enjoyed canning, knitting, & crocheting. Sally cherished spending time with her family, especially her kids and grandkids.
As per her wishes, Sally will be accorded cremation rites.
