Emma was born in 1852, the daughter of Robert Gates and Eliza (Elwell)[1]
Emma (aged 22) married Murdock McAskill (aged 32) on 18 July 1874 at the residence of Mr Phillips in Kent Town, South Australia[2]
She passed away in 1897 aged 45 years[3]
