He passed away in 1889.
Research Notes
Care must be taken to distinguish between (a) this couple William and Susan Gathercole and (b) the family of William Gathercole (b c 1793) and Susan Horne, who married in Lakenheath in 1824.
Previously, this William and Susan were allocated as parents of William A Gathercole, but he has since been detached.
