Biography
Ruth was born in 1831 and was baptised in Stroud, Gloucestershire on 13 November 1831[1]. She was the daughter of Peter Gay and Eliza Butler.
In 1851 she was a servant in the household of Fanny Barber in Stroud.[2]
She married Francis Bingham in Aston, Warwickshire on 30 Jul 1854.[3][4] They had children; John (1857), Francis (1860), Elizabeth (1864), George (1866), William (1868), Mary Ann (1870)
In 1861 she was living in Aston with husband Francis and sons John (4y) and Francis (1y). [5]
She passed away in 1909. [6]
