Cecilia Maude Gehrig was born in 1886 at Clarence Town, New South Wales, Australia. She was the daughter of Johann Gehrig and Elizabeth (Fischer) Gehrig. Cecilia married Charles Joseph Trappel on 15 May 1911 at Brookfield, New South Wales, Australia. Cecilia Maude (Gehrig) Trappel passed away on 15 December 1932 at Clarence Town, New South Wales, Australia.

OBITUARY.

CECILIA MAUD TRAPPEL.

The residents of Woerden and Clarence Town received a great shock when they heard of the sudden death of Mrs. Chas. Trappel on Thursday morning last. She had done her usual duties in the morning, and about 10 o'clock was picking some beans in the garden, when she felt faint, and walked to the house. She sat on a chair, fell to the floor, expiring immediately.

Deceased was widely known for her genuine neighbourly qualities. She leaves a sorrowing husband and a family of ten children, the youngest being seven years old, two children having predeceased her.

She was a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. John Gehrig, old pioneers of the district.

The funeral took place on Friday, when her remains were laid beside those of her late children in the Catholic portion of the Clarence Town cemetery, Rev. Father Bourke officiating at the church and graveside, Rev. Father Gloster was present and assist-ed with the service. The funeral ar-rangements were carried out by Messrs. Crowfoot and Redman.
