Biography

Caterina Gennaro is a Corleone native resident, the daughter of Giuseppe Gennaro and Paola Trapani, who married in 1745. She is named after her paternal grandmother.

Caterina marries Calogero lo Liggio, son of the late Onofrio lo Liggio and the living Agata Soldano, on 15 October 1769. Her father has died. This record calls her mother Paola Russo.^[1] There is no marriage in Corleone for a couple whose names match those given as the parents of the bride in this record. Calogero and Caterina have at least two children: Bernarda (c. 1770) and Onofrio (c. 1771), named after his paternal grandfather.

Bernarda marries Antonino Mannina on 18 October 1789 in Corleone.^[2]

Onofrio marries Maria Trapani on 8 February 1801.^[3]

Caterina dies at age 62 (b. 1741) on 5 October 1803.^[4]
