Biography
François was born on 30 January 1848, the son of Isaac Gervais, cultivateur, and Appoline Bonin. He was baptized the same day at Sainte-Trinité-de-Contrecœur.
François Xavier married Salomée Hotte on 30 April 1867 at Saint-Ephrem-d’Upton.
Widowed, he married Félicité St Georges on 20 April 1874 at Saint-Mathieu-de-Beloeil.
