Biography
William's parents may be Jonathan Gibson and Susan Glenn. He and Elender were married by Charles A. McDaniel, Minister of the Gospel. He and Elender had two children, Jane Ann Gibson and Branch Whitfield Gibson. According to notes found in research, William was a teamster in the Civil War in CSA "Cobb's Legion". He was at the Battle of Gettysburg and died of typhoid diarrhea at Stuart Hospital, Richmond, Richmond City, Virginia. It is not known where he may be buried.
