Biography

Barend was born about 1788 in Abcoude. He was the son of Barend Gijsel and Steventje van der Linden. Also: Geijsel. He was a blacksmith's serviceman.

He married Trijntje de Wit on 29 August 1819 in Wormerveer. [1]

He passed away 3 February 1860 in Purmerend.[2]
