Biography

Maria Catharina Gijsen was born in 1804 in Born, Limburg, Nederland, daughter of Michiel Gijsen (1764–1824) and Anna Gertruid Bekers (1768–1837).

Maria (34) married Joannes Franciscus Schrans (31) (born on February 22, 1807 in Born; son of Wilhelmus Schrans and Anna Maria (Swillens) Schrans) in 1839.[1] Their daughter was Anna Judith Schrans (1843–1885).

Maria died on November 5, 1868 in Born, aged 64.
