Biography
Susan Elizabeth Gilland was born 30, March 1843; married Samuel Stover, a successful farmer in Antrim Township, Franklin Co., Penna. Mr. Stover was born 17,Dec. 1831, near Shady Grove, Penna. He was a son of John and Mary (Deardorff) Stover. He died 27, May 1875 at 44 years of age, only a year after their youngest child was born. The responsibility of the management of the farm and their growing family was success¬ fully performed by the mother, Susan Stover. In her late years she resided in Waynesboro, Penna.
