Biography
John is named in his father's will as eldest son and age 15 in 1551. He paid the herriot for his inheritance of the lands in the parish of Elland called "Baitings" on April 7, 1553. [1]
John married Alice Marsden on 1 May 1559 in Elland, Yorkshire, England.[2]
He died in 1576 and was buried on 5 April 1576 in Elland, Yorkshire (West Riding), England.[3]
