Mrs. Matilda Swain
Funeral services for Matilda Swain, 77, of Leesville were held at 2 p.m., December 9 at Hixson Chapel with the Rev. Aubrey Boswell officiating. Burial was in Holly Springs Cemetery at Fullerton.
Mrs. Swain died December 7 at Sabine Clinic in Zwolle after a ten day stay there. She was a member of East Leesville Baptist Church.
Survivors include three sons, Earl Swain of Lake Charles; Robert F. Swain of Leesville; Ernest Ewell Swain of Port Arthur, Texas; one daughter, Mrs. E. C. Riddle of Leesville; one brother, Oza Gobert of Taft, Texas; three sisters, Mrs. Gene Gobert of Gulfport, Miss.; Mrs. Jeannie Goeshean of Algiera; Mrs. J. B. Jeaneau of Lake Charles; 15 grandchildren.
