Biography

Charlotte Emily Godden was born in 1900 in Rottingdean, Sussex^[1]. She was the daughter of George Henry Frederick Godden and Mary Alce^[2].

In 1925 she married John Walter Jee in Sussex^[3] and they had 4 children: Donald (b.1929, d.1983), Margaret (b.1933), Betty (b.1936) and Ronald (b.1937).

Charlotte died aged 76 in 1977 in Buckinghamshire^[4].
