Biography
The daughter of Gustav Georg Goetz (1852-1939) and Christina Knauer (1855-1939), Elizabeth Goetz was born in Wyandotte Township, Michigan[citation needed] in 1877, residing there with her family.[1] Elizabeth married Bernardt Bauer, marrying in Frenchtown Township, Michigan on April 16, 1900[2] and making their home in Frenchtown Township, where she and her husband operated a truck farm.[3][4][5][6][7][8]
Widowed in 1955, Elizabeth Bauer passed away in Monroe Township, Michigan[9] at the age of 104,[10] residing last in Plymouth, Michigan. She is buried with her husband at Trinity Lutheran Church cemetery in Monroe, Michigan.[11]
