Alma Brincks, age 97, of Carroll and formerly of Roselle, died Friday, June 18, 2021, at Regency Park Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Carroll.
Born on November 26, 1923, in Roselle Township, Carroll County, Alma was the daughter of Nic and Catherine (Bruning) Goetzinger. She grew up in Roselle and attended Holy Angels School. On March 4, 1946, Alma married Clarence Brincks at Holy Angels Catholic Church in Roselle, where Alma was a lifelong member and part of the Holy Angels Altar Society.
Alma enjoyed playing cards, sewing, cooking, and was a babysitter for many years who touched a lot of lives. Her favorite outings were playing Bingo and a trip to the casino now and then.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Clarence; grandson, Shawn Steven Brincks; and siblings, Irene (Tony) Lammers, Edwin (Rayneldis) Goetzinger, Alvin Goetzinger, Marcella (John) Guess, Leota (Benny) Miller, Rita (Carroll) Birch, Matt (Agnes) Goetzinger, Dottie (Kenny) Sieve, Clete (Darlene) Goetzinger, Elmer, Walter, and Vince Goetzinger.
She is buried in Holy Angels Cemetery, Carroll County, Iowa, USA
