Biography
Catherine Gonzales was born about 1857, most likely in Nacogdoches County, Texas. Her mother's married name was Olas "Lucy" Gonzales, but her father's information is unknown at this time. Catherine married Antonio Manchaca on August 25, 1881, in Nacogdoches. They had at least two children during their marriage. She died as a young mother on July 25, 1887, in Nacogdoches, at the age of 30, and was buried in the same county.
