Biography
Grace was born in 1689 in Horbury, Yorkshire, the daughter of Thomas Goodall. Confusingly, the Horbury register has two entries for her: under March 1688/1689, "Grace daughter of Tho. Goodall bapt the 21te day" then four lines further down under April 1689 "Grace daughter of Thomas Goodall born the ffirste day" (Bapt has been crossed out and born written over the top of it).[1][2][3]
She married Joshua Pollard on 8 December 1709 at Horbury.[4]
