Biography
John Gornall (age 18), brickmaker of Edmund Street, son of the late Mark Gornall, brick maker, married Ellen Baxendale (age 18), spinster and rover of Lancaster Road, daughter of Richard Baxendale, spinner, on 19 July 1852 at St John's Church, Preston, Lancashire, England. The witnesses were Richard Sharples and Elizabeth Eastham.[1]
