Thomas Gould (or Gold) was a cooper born in Boston. His parents may have been Thomas & Frances (Robinson) Gould who's son Thomas was born November 27 1659. He married Experience Sumner (d/o William Sumner) about 1686 and together they had 6 children^[1]

1. Thomas, born June 19, 1687 and died young ^[1]
2. Thomas (second of this name), born January 29 1688. Probably the same Thomas Gold who married Rebecca Lyon in Roxbury December 28, 1716.^[1]
3. Elizabeth, born February 14, 1694^[1]
4. Bartholomew, born April 4, 1696 and died young ^[1]
