Biography
Jane C. (Gould) Coleman was born in 1827 in Bath, Somerset, England, United Kingdom[1].
In the 1841 census Jane (age 13) was in Ugborough, Devon, England.[2]
In the 1851 census Jane (age 22) was the servant of Charles Norrington in Plymouth St Andrew, Devon, England.[3]
Jane married Francis Coleman (born in Cornwall, England on 6 Oct 1813; died in Hamilton, Wentworth, Ontario, Canada on 15 Jun 1900) on 12 Jul 1859 in Lincoln, Ontario.[4][5]
Their daughter was Helena Jane Coleman (1860 - 1953).
Jane died on 28 Sep 1862 in Canada West aged ~35. She is buried in Salem Cemetery, Cramahe, Northumberland County, Ontario, Canada.[6]
