Biography
Margaret Graham was born in 1762 and died in 1824 in Tennessee.[1] She is buried in Big Spring Presbyterian Church Cemetery in Friendsville, Blount County, Tennessee.[1]
She emigrated from Ireland, with her brother Robert Graham, in 1770. They settled near Wytheville, Virginia.[2]
Joseph Johnston and Margeret Graham were married on May 15, 1783, in Surry, North Carolina[3] or in 1781 near Charleston, South Carolina.[2]
All of Joseph and Margaret's ten children were born in York District, South Carolina before they moved their entire family, around 1816, to Blount County, Tennessee.[2]
