Biography
James was born on 15 May 1802 in Port of Menteith, Perthshire, Scotland. He was the son of John Graham and Agnes McEwan. [1]
He married Eleanor Smith Thwaites on 15 September 1835, in Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland [2]
They had 4 known children:

James is in the Scotland Census, 1851, age 48, Practicing in Edinburgh as a Solicitor Supreme Court, Justice of Peace for Perthshire [9]
At some time before 1856 he emigrated to Quebec, Canada, where he passed away on 16 August 1885 in Toronto, Ontario, Canada and was buried in the Mount Royal Cemetery in Montreal, Quebec [10]
