James Graham was the Commissioner of Peace for Perthshire, a writer in Edinburgh, and a Supreme Court Solicitor. On 14 October 1834 he was listed as one of the Knights Grand Crosses of the Knights Templar - from a brief life history attached to his profile on Family Search.
James is in the Scotland Census, 1851, age 48, Practicing in Edinburgh as a Solicitor Supreme Court, Justice of Peace for Perthshire [9]
At some time before 1856 he emigrated to Quebec, Canada, where he passed away on 16 August 1885 in Toronto, Ontario, Canada and was buried in the Mount Royal Cemetery in Montreal, Quebec [10]
